    Bayer is pleased to announce the appointment of Tim Steen as Territory Sales Manager Professional for the Canadian golf market. 

  • Operational management in three divisions: Pharmaceuticals, Consumer Health and Crop Science / Dieter Weinand, Erica Mann and Liam Condon appointed to the Bayer Board of Management / Dr. Hartmut Klusik succeeds Michael König as a member of the Board of Management and Labor Director / Greater integration and stronger focus on the Bayer corporate brand / Implementation to start on January 1, 2016
  • This acquisition will enable Bayer’s Environmental Science business unit to offer a comprehensive portfolio of products for effective weed control for Industrial Vegetation Management (IVM). 

  • The Canadian Golf Superintendents Association (CGSA) and Bayer have announced a new Sponsorship arrangement that will provide golf course turf managers across the country with greater program access, influence in product development, new information resources, educational opportunities and recognition for the golf course management profession. 

  • The Canadian Golf Superintendents Association (CGSA) and Bayer are pleased to announce a sponsorship agreement for the CGSA Superintendent of the Year award which will be renamed the “CGSA Bayer Superintendent of the Year” award. As part of the commitment Bayer will provide a number of award related incentives valued at almost $200,000 over the next five years to support both the award recipient and the CGSA. In return, the award will be renamed the CGSA Bayer Superintendent of the Year.
  • Rhapsody is now registered for suppression of powdery mildew diseases on ornamentals grown indoors, outdoors, in greenhouses and nurseries.

  • Drione - a powerful silica-based desiccant dust with synergized natural pyrethrum; is now labeled for control of wasps in wall voids

     

  • Bayer Environmental Science is pleased to announce an exciting label expansion for Trilogy SC fungicide.  Along with snow mould, anthracnose, and dollar spot, the PMRA has now approved Trilogy SC for control of two additional diseases - brown patch and microdochium patch.

     

  • While most of the world’s eyes are being drawn to the sunny shores of Brazil for this year’s World Cup, Golf enthusiasts are currently casting their eyes towards a different sort of turf. This month the United States Golf Association will be hosting the 99th edition of its Annual U.S. Open; and to celebrate the occasion they will be hosting the tournament at the equally prestigious golf course ‘Pinehurst No.2.’

    Bayer, in conjunction with our good friends over at John Deere Golf are pleased to announce our 9th Annual Green Start Academy.  Green Start Academy is an all-expenses-paid, two-and-a-half-day education and networking event for assistant superintendents held at the Bayer and John Deere facilities in North Carolina.
